One night Rosalinda is awakened by a noise in the garden. When she and her pet hen, Blanca, investigate, they see a man leaving with a large sack - full of fruit from Rosalinda's beloved lemon tree. What's even worse is that in the morning she discovers that the tree is now dying. Seeking a way to heal the tree and find out more about the thief who stole the lemons, she takes advice from an old woman and all is eventually resolved.
